Aksharapadeeyam
Aksharapadeeyam is :
A system of integrated practice, a philosophical approach to understand ‘tattva,’ the essence;
to know human experience and the relationship between ‘the word’ and ‘the world’;
to experience ‘absolute reality and the worldly,’ ‘energy manifest and unmanifest’;
to bring awareness to handle internal and external imbalances for health and harmony of life.
Centrality of Aksharapadeeyam is about Veda Rishis such as ‘vEda Rshi-s’, Panini, BhatRhari, Patanjali and other great scholars from yester years and several contemporary scholars’ approach to matrix of Sound, Syllable, Life Elements and Universe.
It takes you inward and teaches the Taatvika (analytical and logical) approach. Unless and until we indulge in deeper thinking, we cannot reinvent a newer way, a way of utilizing our very own speaking ability, the Shakthi, the life force of speech–Akshara Shakthi, Vaak Shakthi (Sound and Speech).
Contemporary celebrations of self-inquiry through – ‘Speech and Sound’ is the basis for “Aksharapadeeyam.” This is a humble effort to help understand ‘thought and expression,’ ‘articulated sounds and words,’ and ‘linguistic potency and competence’ within us. Aksharapadeeyam is a concept of antiquity in a new light.
Human life is a continuum of actions and events ‘kriya’ and ‘GhaTana.’ During the process, our ideas, ambitions, aspirations, dreams, desires and intentions are all converted into actions. The action of ‘Speech’ is representative of all actions of human life. One of the most stupendous manifestations of Sound in nature is the generic term of “Akshara”. “Akshara” is a word from Vedic parlance and is an integral part of life. It has a specific, complete and significant position and purpose in a sound matrix which is nothing but human life.
